形态描述
体纺锤形、稍侧扁。头短宽。吻圆钝。口下位，横裂，颇宽，与该处头宽相等，头长约为其2倍。下唇仅限于口角。下颌外露，具锐利角质缘。无须。鳞片较大。背鳍硬刺带锯齿，分枝鳍条11—12。尾柄细长。
生物学
Body elongated and compressed, barbel absent, branched rays of the dorsal fin 11-12. This species is only found in the Lancangjiang River.
